Creative Billboard!

In this entry, I will share more how the designers out there do the advertising, ecspecially using billboard in creative way to publish it to the people.

This is the billboard for vacuum product. See there how you can how the designer spread the message creatively about the vacuum untill it can sucks the giant air balloon. More below here.

Isnt these creative billboard is more fun and more attractive compare to typical billboard to people to see? This is some of the examples in the world, the works of creative people that can made you think crazy.

What is Creativity?

Creativity is defined as the tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves and others. (page 396)

This is definition of creativiy from Human Motivation Book, written by Robert E. Franken. To me, as a creative multimedia student, it is important to us, to think creatively. Not only by thinking outside the box, but think beyond than that. As creative as possible.

It is important to us, to think creatively. Not only for our artworks, but also in our life. How we choose the path for our life.

As an example, "creative" thinking needed, when you try to decorate your house, flirt with somebody. Isnt it also a needed for us to think creatively?

In order to be creative, we need to see something from different perspective. As we can see from the image I uploaded below,

This is why, think creative is important to me, to us, ecspecially me, a Media Innovation student who will face the advertising design once I graduate from MMU.

Creative Studies. Seems like a fun subject to hear.

What is my expectation for this class?
Of course, the main thing, to be as creative as possible! Creative to solving the problems. Creative to create the problems. Creative to think about some issues. Creative to finish my assignments. In other word, the main thing I expect is I know the step to think out of the box, to be creative!

To me, this is the main process, as a become-to-be multimedia designer, should understand what is creative thinking and how to solve the problems. Besides that, as what my lecturer list on the slide he uploaded on MMLS ;

Demonstrate an awareness of how design is influenced by society, culture, and the environment and discuss this in relation to personal beliefs and values

I hope I will understand it better in this class. By the way, this is a nice animation clip about Creativity.
